Wow! How long has it been?

Almost a year…

I don’t even know how to start this post. I took a break from writing for a bit. It was inevitable at the time. Personal tragedies in the family, travelling and my good old mood swings all contributed to me being an ass to my readers!

In the interim, I blasted through my reading list. Can you believe I read almost two hundred books in the duration of last year and January and half of Feb of this year? SO I’d say, that time wasn’t completely wasted (I have quite the stash of book boyfriends now 😀 ). Even if I didn’t write anything. I love this phase and it is still going strong (my husband doesn’t like it as much as I do)!

Reading so much broke me away from my Charlaine Harris bad habits. My faith in the written word was restored. And I have started writing again. Sorry for being as clueless as I am though 😦 😦 😦 …

I want to cheer and applaud my friends in this space though. Kudos for continuing to write, captivate and entertain. I might suck as a writer, but I am a hell of a reader and I thank God for good writers everyday. You go writers! You’re rock stars!

So I have gotten ahead on my ongoing projects. Working on the last chapters of Angels of the Night and Day and Dead and Alive. I’ll post the chapters as soon I finish editing the drafts. It feels good though. Completing what I started. That’s how I’ll make way for the new WIPs right?

Dead and Alive – Pay It Forward

And now I’ll get back to work 🙂

    • Hey 🙂 SO…book boyfriends…God where do I start and where do I begin. I’ll name my favorites though (not in order) – Gideon Cross (don’t need to write the book), Travis Maddox (Beautiful Disaster), Antonio Spinelli (Corruption series C.D. Reiss), Jonathan Drazen (Submission series C.D. Reiss), Reiner Kulti (Kulti by Mariana Zapata), Reyes Farrow (First Grave on the Right), Alex Greene (Love Hacked by Penny Reid), actually all of Penny Reids heros, Nalini SIngh’s angels and Psi and changelings, Garrett Graham (The Deal by Elle Kennedy), Alex Fuentes (Perfect Chemistry), Captain Wentworth in Persuasion, Curran from the Kate Daniel’s series and so on and so on…………

To accommodate my love for all of them, I have started a pinterest page where I keep adding pictures and feeling gooey about them :)…

      • I have met some of these fine fellows myself! You have good taste 😘. Jonathan Drazen is awesome and so is Antonio Spinelli! I will seek out these others as time allows and see if they can pencil me in for a dance! Might I suggest The King Trilogy by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff? King is … Quite memorable. 🙂 it really is good to have you back!!! 😘

        • I am but I haven’t done anything with it yet. Jeannie Nelson is my name on there. I liked the King series because the writer made me slow down and care about the characters. That’s kind of rare for me these days.

        • Jeannie Nelson from Staunton, VA? Hmmm that is something I appreciate too. Too many interchangeable characters and similar plots to keep track of. I’ll surely check out King. The one I just finished (Transcendence) and don’t want to get over so am reading through my favorite parts again, is one unique book. When you get time, try some Penny Reid. Best laughs I’ve had since some time. Anyways happy reading 🙂 And writing…
